I’m a multidisciplinary creative Graphic Designer with over 14 years of experience in graphic design, web design, UX / UI design, digital marketing, and branding. I’m passionate about creating well-executed projects and successful campaigns with measurable results. I have worked for a wide range of industries and clients, in both design studios and in-house design teams.
Background
I’m originally from Sweden, now Australian permanent resident, I hold a BA (Hons) degree in graphic design from the University of Lincoln. I started my career in London where I quickly became recognized for my work in the sports and online entertainment industries. After three years working for two reputable London based design agencies, for clients such as Microsoft, FHM, eBay, the NHS, Channel 5, Newcastle Utd, Chelsea FC, Ladbrokes, EMI, and Virgin Media to name but a few, I was offered a position as Lead Graphic Designer for William Hill PLC and subsequently relocated to Gibraltar where
I gained a solid reputation in the gaming industry.
Following that, over a period of about 7 years, I worked as a freelance Senior Graphic Designer for several other corporations and business owners such as William Hill, Perform, Crab Tree & Evelyn, Gala Coral Group, Badoo, Cowshed, and Organic Surge.
Recently after relocating to Australia I have been working in the sustainability and online education
field mainly for Geoff Lawton Online and their associated brands.

In 2019 I established my own business, Olof Design here in Australia and continue to provide various design services to long standing international clients. I also continue to provide design services to Geoff & Nadia Lawton’s Permaculture businesses and have established new clients in Sydney. I have also enjoyed working with and supporting the local community and small businesses. Some recent work includes website design and build for The Channon Hub Resilience Group, Water Northern Rivers, Elly Bird Local Councillor. I developed branding, logo and product labelling for Blacksheep Farm Oils. My main focus areas include Logo Design, Branding, Web Design (and build), Product Labelling, E-commerce, Marketing and Print.
Lead Graphic Designer at Permaculture Sustainable Consulting Pty Ltd
August 2018 – August 2019
Whilst working for Geoff Lawton I refreshed his brand and social media presence. I created several sub brands for his associated organisations. I designed and built a new website for the Greening The Desert project, Permaculture News and Zaytuna Farm. My work also included online marketing materials, print designs for annual reporting, merchandise, product labelling and architectural design support.
Digital Nomad Sustainable World Traveler
September 2014 – 2017
For three years I traveled the globe with my partner to study and learn more about permaculture design. During my travels, I continued to practice graphic design and offered my services on a volunteering and pro bono basis to many charitable organisations. Some examples of my design volunteer work whilst traveling include: Designing print and branding material for the Masarang Foundation founded by dr. Willie Smits. For Paul Wheaton at permies.com. I designed the Wheaton Eco Scale Poster, DVD covers, and marketing material. For Dr John D Liu I completed a branding design exercise for the Rhizo Foundation now called Ecosystem Restoration Camps and much more.
Senior Graphic Designer at Gala Coral Group
March 2013 – August 2014 (1 year 6 months)
Together with the Gala Interactive creative team I worked on a wide range of creative design projects for Gala.se Bingo, Casino, Sportsbook & Poker products. I was instrumental in the designing and development of the Gala Brand for the Swedish market. In preparation for product launch into this new market I managed all design briefs for the branding and marketing campaigns. Once briefs were obtained I would conduct market and product research, before providing the directors of each product vertical with two different design themes/concepts. I was then responsible for managing the chosen concept through to production and execute successfully onto the desired media. Major design projects were completed for a large acquisition/product launch campaign which included News Paper Adverts (Swedish Press), promotional emails, affiliate banners, & social media campaigns. In addition to brand and marketing design, I designed Gala’s internal HR & PR communication documents. As Senior designer I was responsible for managing the workflow into the department and also the companies library of creative files/assets etc. I also assisted junior designers to develop and increase the performance and skill set of the overall creative design team
Lead Graphic Designer at William Hill Gibraltar
August 2009 – July 2010
William Hill is one of the UK’s largest betting and gaming companies. Managing a team of 5 talented Graphic designers, I was also responsible for conceptualising and designing a multitude of digital assets for William Hill’s online gaming products. As well as online and print based advertising campaigns, office materials including wall posters and official company documents. I held the relationship with key stakeholders as well as being responsible for maintaining the brands consistency across the different products and platforms.
Senior Graphic Designer Biovita Oslo
August 2010 – February 2013
Working as a Graphic Designer for multiple products and brands my work focused mainly on providing designs to support branding, packaging and marketing materials for Kilovekk, Oxitrate, Snail Rail & Bio365. I was responsible for obtaining design briefs that focused mainly on producing modern/market leading product designs for various nutritional products for which I would create several different design directions. Once the brand theme/concept was approved then I would create and provide graphical materials for the products branding, labelling & packaging and also designs to support marketing campaigns, such as direct mailers, email campaigns, social media campaigns and news paper adverts. In addition, for some products I also provided motion graphic advertising and product presentation templates and product information leaflets.
Web Designer at Perform London
August 2007 – July 2008
At Perform, the leading provider of online TV and video on demand services for the sports and entertainment industries, I worked for the majority of Perform’s major clients, leading many projects from start to finish. These include the 2008 redesign of Chelseafc.com and Newcastle United websites. I also worked on various pitches to gain new clients for the business, the latest and primary clients I rounded up for perform as a result of my designs were is EMI, Racing UK TV, Setanta Sports and Virgin Media.
Junior Flash Designer at STEEL London
May 2006 – July 2007 (1 year 3 months)
I worked at the London based design agency Steel as a Flash designer. During my time at Steel I worked with clients such as:Ladbrokes AOL, Microsoft X-box, FHM, eBay, Lastminute.com, NHS, Debenhams’s, Sea France, and Channel Five. The projects varied from online ad campaigns to viral microsites. Some projects included a full redesign of content-rich sites such as Haven holidays and Cannons gym.
